Following on from the feedback i got from the ideas i came up wit, i began creating some mock ups within illustrator.
From the start i new i wanted to keep the posters simple so not to take too much away from the interview. Each poster contains the colour scheme of each of the professionals brand that ive interviewed. As ive only heard back from Corridor digital i was going to focus more on them and if i hear back from the others then i will work on them more even if its after the hand in of the module. having the layout of the poster incorporating both the logo and the interview was too simple for me so to add to this i considered adding more to the posters to further the screen print process and make them look more aesthetically pleasing. After talking to peers about my concept they suggested maybe using a half tone image of the people who are part of the studio, similar to that of my OUGD505 studio brief 1. agreeing with their suggestion i went ahead and got images of each of the main people from the studio and edited them within Photoshop. as i want the posters to be cheap and easy to produce, I decided to make it so that the amount of paint needed would be as low as possible so the frequency of the halftone was set to 24 which was the lowest option for me as it still retained the image within it.
screen printing came out much better than expected (bar a few smudges her and there) as i was a bit sceptical in terms how the half tone was going to come across from screen to print and how the ink would look on coloured card. working it out in terms of cost, a £1.00 tub of black paint can make 20 posters if everything included the text was to be screen printed so it works out to each poster costing 5p. now if i was to print a A3 sheet with the text on that and add it to the poster, it brings the overall price is lowered by a penny (as you can print 2 A4's onto it for 2p) its not much but if this was to be mass produced alongside each different interview then every penny counts
