email/letter:
Hi
Im currently in my second year of university studying graphic design in the UK. You guys have been a huge inspiration to me as watching what you create and the passion you have for your craft opened me up to the creative industry. For me though, one of my favourite videos that you've made is the REAL Mario galaxy as seeing you push the technology you had at hand in such a new and creative way was really cool and I can't wait for what comes out of the lifeline project Sam and Niko have been working on.
The main reason I'm emailing is that I'm working on a project to create a screen print poster campaign and I would love to to get you . Im woking on getting the views of many creatives who have made it in the in their diffrent field and to hopefully get some answers for a few questions. the project itself is aimed more towards students at university to give them a better understanding of what the field they want to go into is like and what professionals like your selfs feel about it. If you guys would like to help then that would be awesome but i understand how busy you are.
If you are interested being part of this then the questions are:
- Collaboration is a big part of the creative industry. When you're looking to collaborate with somebody, what would you look for in terms of quality, skills or even personality
- Everybody has a different way of tackling a project, what would you say is your typical design process when creating your content is?
- How do you measure success within your projects?
- If you could tell your younger self who was just starting out a piece of advice you from what you know now what would it be?
- Finally, If your feeling a bit down, whats your go to video that will always cheer you back up?
- If theres anything else you would like to add to help people coming into the industry then feel free to include it as it would be a huge help!
Thanks again for your time and I look forward to hopefully hearing back from you!!
