Dines - Studio BLUP
The presentation that Dines, from studio BLUP, really inspired me as hearing his story of working and creating a studio based on what he loves was great to hear. This talk was the best out of the creative convo week for me (which isn't saying the other ones were bad ). I made me think about my plans to start up a studio with a few illustration friends of mine an dhow it is achievable as long as I put the work into it.

Make your network as big as possible
Create mood boards to help you achieve your goals
Get your own email, don't use live.com or gmail.com
Dont be afraid to reach out to magazines about getting your work published / featured
Combine your love for making money and what drives you
Say you can do anything that is asked from you and learn how to do it the day before
