Screen Printing Workshop

Finally got to do the screen printing workshop the other day for both Vernon street and Blenheim walk's print room, something I've been waiting to do since starting the course. After learning the basics of screen printing, we were asked to give it a go by using a pre made screen from the rack to create some 2 colour prints. Unfortunately, we couldn't keep the prints we had made as the artist who original created the design uses the pieces on his website. While it was a shame it did provide a good learning experience in how to properly print. Its a process I've been waiting to try and now that I have used it, I look forward to using this process for future projects. I just wish I had this workshop before our secret 7 brief, but its perfect for the licence to print brief.
